Fifa Stops Omotoyossi's Transfer To Syrianska
Published: April 16, 2013
Swedish club Syrianska agreed with Zamalek and signed Razak Omotoyossi before the transfer window closed.
But the Premier League club has been waiting for clearance from FIFA. Now they have received a negative reply.
Fotbolltransfers.com with reference to LT quoted the sports director of Syrianska, Jan Grigo as saying''It is very surprising. They reject in principle the transfer. I can not go out and say in detail why, but if I'm going to be brief, I can say that they are very zealous. Swedish Football Association are also surprised.''
Syrianska will, however, appeal the decision.
''We will make an application for a reversal of the decision, on the advice of the Swedish Football Association.
''The funny thing about this is that all are unanimous. Both Zamalek, Razak, we and the Swedish Football Association. But Fifa had a different view,'' said Jan Grigo to LT.se.
