Harmony Ikande Arrested In Israel For Visa Violation

Former Nigeria youth - teamer Harmony Ikande was arrested on Wednesday during training by Israeli Immigration for visa violations, writes one.co.il.
The Immigration authority came to Hapoel Ashkelon's training complex yesterday to investigate if Ikande had been staying illegally in Israel without valid documents.
Though Harmony Ikande was eventually released on bail, he has been told to regularize his legal status within a week
In addition, the authorities are now investigating if the midfielder's transfer to Hapoel Ashkelon did not break the law.
Certainly, Harmony Ikande will miss Saturday's match with Beitar Shimshon, Tel Aviv.
The 22 - year - old, who joined Hapoel Ashkelon just before the close of the winter transfer market, has played 11 games in Israel's second - tier.
