As Ibadan soccer fans are gearing up for an epic battle between 3SC and Sunshine in week 10 fixtures of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) scheduled for Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Ibadan free gift items have been provided for them courtesy of the sports loving Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South/West Local Government, Hon. Taoheed Adeleke.
The council boss according to the media officer of 3SC, Jubril Arowolo has financed 1,000 entry tickets and 20,000 copies of 2012/13 NPFL match fixtures, which would be distributed freely to all fans that would be in stadium for the match.
“The council boss has been a strong pillar of support to the team from the beginning of the season, with the provision of 1,000 free match tickets to our fans in every home game which has tremendously boosted the turnout of crowd in our matches and again the distribution of free match fixtures to fans.
“The aspirations and expectation of every follower of the team is for the boys to win a continental slot at the end of the season, and this can be best realized with the supports of all and sundry like Adeleke is doing and not government alone”, Arowolo noted.
He however, enjoined the club’s teeming fans to come early to the stadium in order to benefit from the good gesture of the 3SC backer Hon. Adeleke adding that their support would be an important factor for the team’s victory.
