Akeem Agbetu Happy To Survive Relegation With Tavsanli Linyitspor

Akeem Agbetu has expressed delight with his strike in the final game of the season which helped Tavsanli Linyitspor survive the drop.
The ex Nigeria youth - teamer got on the score-sheet after 79 minutes in the 1 - 0 defeat of Göztepe at the İzmir Atatürk Stadium (İzmir).
Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com, Agbetu said: ''It was a great feeling, awesome that I scored the only goal that made us escape relegation.
''It was a winner-take- all match.I feel on top of the world. I just keep thanking Allah and my family and friends.''
One of the reasons Tavsanli Linyitspor poached Akeem Agbetu from Boluspor in the winter transfer market was to assist the club in their fight for First League safety.
Analyzing the scorecard, it is mission accomplished for club and player, who netted 3 goals in 14 matches.
''I came here to help the team escape relegation and I thank God we able to achieve our goal,'' he added.
25 - year - old Akeem Agbetu is now a free agent. He will decide his future in the coming weeks after discussing with his agent.
