The Sodje brother Efe and Sam were recently guests on a popular London chat show Tea With The Duchess which is hosted by Nigerian born TV queen Duchess Nena Ubani, popularly known as Duchess of London in the UK Entertainment scene.
The brothers who are enjoying their summer holidays took time out from their strict schedule to appear on the popular show which is shown on many UK TV stations and can also be viewed online on www.duchesstv.com.
In her unique easy going manner reminiscent of American chat show host Oprah WInfrey, Duchess Maria got the brothers to talk on a host of different topics, most especially their well decorated football careers and their charity work with their other siblings through their foundation Sodje Sports Foundation.
Efe who represented Nigeria at the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan and Sam who still has serious intentions of returning to Stephen Keshi's Super Eagles team along with their other siblings Bright, Akpo, Onome and many friends are involved in charity activities in the UK and in Nigeria.
According to Duchess Nena, her show Tea With The Duchess focuses on highlight the exploits and also efforts of people of African descent in the UK and the Sodje Brothers are her first football guests but the maturity and warmth the exuded and displayed during the interview has made her resolve to involve more Nigerian footballers in the UK in her show.
