Peter Odemwingie Reveals Anatoliy Byshovets Introduced Him To Philosophy
Published: May 28, 2013
Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie has commented on his time spent
with Lokomotiv Moscow under the leadership of Anatoliy Byshovets.
Anatoliy Byshovets, an ex Russia international, guided the Railway Men from 2006 to 2007.
In his first season, Lokomotiv Moscow finished in third place while they occupied seventh place the following year.
''Anatoly first was a brilliant technician who is well versed in football. He was a striker, so give me very valuable tips that I will never forget.
''If I decide one day to become a coach, the first to whom I will refer for help will be Byshovets,'' Odemwingie told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The West Brom striker added: ''You ask, do not miss a free quote by philosopher Byshovtsa . No, maybe someone did not take it seriously, but I have grown fond of philosophy, I read a lot of books.''
Since departing Lokomotiv Moscow, Anatoliy Byshovets has acted as consultant to Kuban Krasnodar and advisor of Ufa.
