Former Flying Eagles star Olarenwaju Kayode has finalized discussions regarding a new contract after he impressed in his first season with Maccabi Netanya.<br /><br /><i>Sports Walla </i>says his agent traveled to Israel this past week to negotiate with the leadership of the newly crowned National League champions.<br /><br />And after the roundtable meetings, the Nigeria youth - teamer and his manager have agreed with the club to extend his contract for at least two seasons but NOTHING has been signed yet until sometime this week.<br /><br />The icing on the cake is that Maccabi Netanya reached an agreement with Emeka Ezeala for him to collaborate with the club regarding the acquisition of other talented Nigerian youngsters.<br /><br />Chievo Verona had been mulling over a bid for Kayode but from the look of things, the proposed move has now met a brick-wall. <br />
