Exclusive: Stephen Keshi Drops Yobo From Provisional Squad, Odemwingie Makes Roster
Published: April 24, 2014
Manager Stephen Keshi sensationally dropped the experienced defender from the 38 - man provisional squad list submitted to the Nigeria Football Federation chiefs on Tuesday.
And it remains to be seen if that brave decision by Keshi will be rubber-stamped by the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Federation when the list is made public.
After burying the hatchet with Peter Odemwingie over his outbursts on social media, the former RSC Anderlecht libero has included the Stoke City attacker in the preliminary roster.
As previously revealed, Michael Uchebo, Imoh Ezekiel, Ramon Azeez and Leon Balogun made the list.
Nigeria will submit a 30 - man squad to the governing body, Fifa on May 10.
