Fenerbahce Release Statement About Emmanuel Emenike
Published: March 23, 2015
Turkish champions Fenerbahce have released an official statement in which they clarified the Twitter account of Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike.
After the incident on Sunday, there was a post from a fake account stating that Emenike will leave the Yellow Canaries in the summer because of the way he is being treated by his own supporters.
The fake information from a parody account was picked by several foreign media outlets, hence, Fenerbahce have decided to set the record straight.
“Due to the some news that have been caused by unreal posts from some fake accounts on the name of Emmanuel Emenike on Twitter, it has been considered necessary to make this statement.
“Our player Emmanuel Emenike’s official twitter account is @E29EMENIKE . Please do not consider other fake accounts,” Fenerbahce said on their official webpage.
