Kenneth Omeruo Drops BIG Hint He Will Not Play For Chelsea Next Season

Kenneth Omeruo has announced his departure from Championship side Middlesbrough and went further to drop a strong hint that his future next season is far away from Chelsea.
In 2015, the Nigeria international saw his first team opportunities limited at The Riverside Stadium, with only five appearances under his belt out of a possible 25 no thanks to injuries and due to the technical decision of coach Aitor Karanka.
“It’s sad that our targets for this season wasn’t achieved. But for me personally, I learnt a lot by being here and it has been an experience I will forever cherish,” Kenneth Omeruo said in a statement.
“The love you guys showed me, is overwhelming. Even when I was getting frustrated, you guys were behind me and supporting me.”
He added : “And this I will never forget no matter where I am next season. I want to thank the manager and the club for believing in me.
“And I have no doubt the manager will take this team to the Premier League. I am forever grateful to the boys for being such a wonderful team.. I will be cheering for you guys or with you guys.”
The 21 - year - old Kenneth Omeruo is under contract with Chelsea June 30, 2018.
A product of Hard Foundation , the central defender is yet to make his official debut for the Londoners since his arrival in January 2012 despite beating red - tape.
