Amuneke Relishing Golden Eaglets Confrontation With Mexico

Emmanuel Amuneke is relishing the upcoming meeting with Mexico at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup and has predicted that the CONCACAF side will give the Golden Eaglets a run for their money.
The former Sporting Lisbon winger was part of the backroom staff at the 15th edition of the tournament that led the national team to two victories against the Mexican side, with a certain Kelechi Iheanacho scoring a total of five goals in the fixtures.
“We welcome the challenge of meeting Mexico again because we are more or less old foes, ” Emmanuel Amuneke said to thenff.com.
“I think it is going to be an interesting game because the Mexicans have shown in this tournament that they are a very solid side but we will continue to work towards this important semi final game.”
As part of their preparations for the semi - final clash at Estadio Municipal Ester Roa , the Golden Eaglets had a workout on Tuesday in Concepción.
