Exclusive : SA To NFF President, Tunde Aderibigbe Kidnaps Golden Eaglets Star Orji Okonkwo
Published: January 12, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Tunde Aderibigbe, the SA to NFF President Amaju Pinnick, has been fingered in the abduction of Nigeria Under 17 international Orji Okonkwo.
The Golden Eaglets striker is presently at an undisclosed location in Abuja after he was lured from Football College Abuja by Tunde Aderibigbe.
Femi Olaniran, an agent fronting for Aderibigbe, is putting pressure on Orji Okonkwo to commit his future to Portuguese side FC Porto despite the teenager earlier penning a preliminary contract with Spezia, having trained with the Serie B club for more than two years.
Football College Abuja , who recently paid off St Thomas FC Benin for the striker’s services, have made a verbal report to Nasiru Jubril, personal assistant to the NFF President, but Aderibigbe told the lower ranked officer that there’s nothing he can do about this case.
Spezia had been expected to announce the signing of Orji Okonkwo in the next one week or so when the player would have attained the age of majority.
The youngster was offered to Premier League clubs Chelsea and West Ham after the Fifa U17 World Cup in Chile.
