Portland Timbers Striker Fanendo Adi Makes MLS Team Of The Week

Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi has been named to Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week for the last round of matches.
The Super Eagles invitee’s brace against Real Slat Lake at Providence Park on Saturday ensured the Oregon-based outfit got a share of the spoils after going 2-0 down.
During the contest, Fanendo Adi had five shots, scored two goals and created four chances.
In a 3-4-3 formation, the 25-year-old was selected to lead the frontline alongside Charles Sapong(Philadelphia Union) and Will Bruin(Houston Dynamo), who both scored a pair of goals for their respective teams.
Ahead of the Super Eagles clash with Egypt in three days time, Adi arrived the national team’s camp on Monday.
