Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses Delighted To Return To International Fold
Published: March 22, 2016
Chelsea loanee Victor Moses is delighted to be back in the Super Eagles squad for the forthcoming 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt.
Prior to his latest call up, the winger had been in the international wilderness for close to two years, with his last appearance for the national team coming against France in the second round of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Moses, a former England youth-teamer, was considered for the international friendlies against Cameroon and DR Congo by ex-coach Sunday Oliseh in October 2015 but pulled out of the squad because he was not fully fit.
“Happy to be back with the Super Eagles and great to see the lads, ” Victor Moses posted on Twitter.
Moses, 25, assisted the Super Eagles to win the 2013 African Cup of Nations and was on target twice during a group game against Ethiopia.
