As previously reported, Kelechi Iheanacho(Man City), Obi Mikel(Chelsea) and Sheyi Ojo(Liverpool) featured for their respective teams in the English Premier League on Saturday, but the highlight of the performance came from the City number 72 who notched a brace in his side’s 4-0 rout of Stoke City.

In the Portuguese Primeira Liga, Chidozie Awaziem was an unused substitute in Porto’s 2-1 victory against Academica.
Still in Portugal, Nigeria international Abdullahi Shehu missed Uniao da Madeira’s 2-0 loss to Sporting CP following his red card last weekend versus Pacos de Ferreira.
Former Flying Eagles star Alhaji Gero finally made his league debut for Oestersunds FK in their goalless draw with Gefle in the Swedish Allsvenskan. He was in action for 61 minutes, while his teammate Omoh Michael was introduced 18 minutes from time.
One division lower, ex-Warri Wolves striker Oke Akpoveta continued his purple patch in front of goal, scoring for the third game on the spin as Frej fell 2-1 to ängelholm . He scored after 11 minutes and played the full game.
