Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the first batch of Dream Team VI players and officials that departed Abuja on Tuesday night landed in the United States on Wednesday morning, Nigerian time.
As at the time of this report, they are at the airport waiting to board a plane to Mexico, ahead of the international friendly against the North Americans on Saturday, 2nd July.
Five foreign-based players - skipper Azubuike Okechukwu, Stanley Amuzie, Abdullahi Shehu, Usman Mohammed and Saturday Erimuya - are presently in America.
The second batch of players will be flying out of Abuja on Wednesday night, as from 2215 hours.
Nigeria will hold a training camp in Atlanta, USA, then leave for Rio de Janeiro after the get-together.
