Published: July 20, 2016
Peter Odemwingie is hoping to return to the English Premier League with newly promoted Hull City, having spent a portion of last season at Bristol City.
The 35-year-old was monitored during Tuesday’s friendly between the Tigers and Mansfield Town, and was in action for 27 minutes after replacing Maloney.
With the scoreboard reading 1-0, the Nigeria international was unlucky not to double Hull City’s advantage when his shot struck
the post in the 83rd minute.
Meanwhile, the striker is enjoying his trial at the KC Stadium outfit and thanked his fans for wishing him all the best.
Odemwingie said on Twitter : “Thanks for wishing me good luck @HullCity. Read all the tweets. First two days have been wonderful â½ï¸ð¯.”
The Bendel Insurance product started off his career in England with West Brom before spells at Cardiff City and Stoke City.
