Enyimba supremo Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu has refused to deny reports linking Nigeria international Mfon Udoh with a possible move to Sudanese Premier League club Al Merreikh.
It is known that many clubs in North Africa are looking to sign the beautiful bride, including Al Ahly, Zamalek and CS Sfaxien, after netting nine goals in the CAF Champions League to emerge as the top scorer.
“If they have invited him, Enyimba will not stop him from joining Al Merreikh, he is free to go, ” Anyansi-Agwu replied when asked if talks have taken place between Al Merreikh and Enyimba.
“Let him go there first. We don’t want to discuss it in the newspapers, it will send a wrong impression. ”
Koorasudan.net, making reference to Sudanese newspapers, has reported that Mfon Udoh is expected to arrive in Sudan in the coming days to complete the transfer.
