Exclusive: Manchester City Talent Nwakali Attracting Interest From Eintracht Frankfurt And Augsburg
Published: December 29, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that two German Bundesliga clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Augsburg are looking to sign Nigeria youth international Chidiebere Nwakali on loan in the January transfer window.
Despite impressing during his loan stint with IK Start in 2016, Nwakali is set to be loaned to a fourth club next month because of problems encountered in obtaining a British work permit.
The central midfielder is presently holidaying in Owerri, Nigeria but will travel to Manchester on January 2 for talks over his future with the Manchester City hierarchy.
Aside the interest from Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Augsburg, Nwakali is also on the radar of Rosenborg and Odd, but has ruled out a return to the Norwegian Tippeligaen for the time being.
The 20-year-old netted four goals and provided five assists in 24 games across all competitions last season.
