Published: May 22, 2017
Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has announced his roster for Scotland’s crucial FIFA World Cup Qualifier against England in Glasgow on June 10.
Derby County midfielder of Nigerian descent Ikechi Anya is set to add to his international caps, having made the squad list.
The former Watford star is one of eight midfielders named in the roster, and will earn his 27th international cap if he features against the Three Lions.
It is all but confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli will be included in England's roster for the meeting at Hampden Park, while Everton star Ross Barkley is also in contention.
Apart from the tie against Lithuania last October, Ikechi Anya has been involved in every single match contested by Scotland in the World Cup qualifiers.
