Iheanacho To Trouser N1.754 Billion Per Season If He Joins West Ham - Reports
Published: May 29, 2017
West Ham are pushing to close a deal for Manchester City's Nigerian wonderkid Kelechi Iheanacho, according to reports.
Reports in the British media, including The Sun, claim the Hammers are aware the Super Eagle earns £35,000-a-week at the Etihad, and are willing to double his wages to 70K per week (equivalent of N1.754 billion per season using the unofficial exchange rate in his homeland).
West Ham recently snapped up free agent Pablo Zabaleta, who played for Manchester City, and they are hoping that the Argentinian can convince his ex-teammate to join him at the London Stadium.
Leicester City and Everton are the other Premier League teams being linked with a swoop for Iheanacho.
French and German clubs not limited to Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim and PSG are also monitoring the situation of the 20-year-old.
