Exclusive: Nigerian Olympic Bronze Medalist Off To Vietnam For Talks With Song Lam Nghe An
Published: May 30, 2017
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com editorial staff, Nigeria U23 international Ndifreke Effiong Udo is set to end his status as a home-based player.
The defender will travel to Vietnam on Tuesday afternoon for contract talks with V.League 1 club Sông Lam Nghệ An, with a view to a transfer in the summer transfer market.
If Ndifreke passes his medical with flying colours and proves he is in good physical condition while training with SLNA, he will be offered a contract.
This is not one of those trips by a Nigerian Professional Football League player as Ndifreke's trip to the Far East has the blessing of Abia Warriors supremo Emeka Inyama.
The deal taking the 18-year-old to Sông Lam Nghệ An was brokered by ex-Enyimba star Uche Dominic Egbukwu, who was involved in negotiations with Udinese for the transfer of Isaac Success few years ago.
Ndifreke Effiong Udo represented Nigeria at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil and helped the country win a bronze medal.
