Official: Kelechi Nwakali, Iwobi Among Seven Nigerian Players Retained By Arsenal

FA Cup kings Arsenal have submitted their retained and released list to the English Premier League following the end of the 2016-2017 season.
The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has recommended that seven players of Nigerian descent will remain at the club ahead of the start of pre-season training.
The retained players are Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi, Nigeria U20 skipper Kelechi Nwakali, Chuba Akpom, Tolaji Bola and Aaron Eyoma.
Two scholars in the shape of Joseph Olowu and Tobi Omole were also retained.
Of the seven aforementioned players, only Iwobi and Akpom have made appearances for Arsenal's first team.
