Exclusive: Paris Saint-Germain Not Making Move For Arsenal, West Ham Target Henry
Published: June 18, 2017
French Ligue 1 moneybags Paris Saint-Germain will not table a bid for the in-demand Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru in the summer transfer window.
It was earlier claimed by the local media that the capital outfit were willing to pay Henry more than what Arsenal and other interested Premier League clubs had offered him, but a club insider has dismissed those claims.
''Right now, PSG are not interested in Henry Onyekuru, '' a PSG insider informed allnigeriasoccer.com when contacted to verify the reports.
''He has to have another good season, and I will say that of any young player, he has to prove himself for one more season.
''PSG has no interest in bringing him to Paris now.''
Last season, Henry was one of the standout players in the Belgian First Division A, and scored 24 goals from 41 appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal, West Ham and Birmingham City among others are said to be interested in the 20-year-old.
