Former Dream Team VI trainee Nansel Selbol is in the running to win the Goal of the Week award in the American United Soccer League for week fifteen.
The Swope Park Rangers talent's brilliant goal against LA Galaxy II on Saturday has been shortlisted for the accolade alongisde four other eye-catching goals.
Three minutes after coming on as a substitute, Selbol bagged the game-winner when he fired into the bottom corner after combining with Tyler Pasher.
To win the Goal of the Week award, Selbol has to see off competition from Aaron Jones (Bethlehem Steel FC), Brian Ownby (Louisville City FC), Emrah Klimenta (Sacramento Republic FC) and Jordan Schweitzer (Orlando City B).
Dubbed the Nigerian nightmare by American commentators, Selbol has been offered to Barcelona and Arsenal, with a view to a transfer in the future.
