Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that they have loaned out highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Josh Onomah to Aston Villa for the entirety of the 2017-2018 season.
And before Onomah traveled to Birmingham, he penned a new four-year deal, tying him to Spurs until June 30,2021.
The 20-year-old made his competitive debut for The Lilywhites against Burnley in January, 2015, and has 32 first-team appearances under his belt in the last two seasons.
The Nigeria Football Federation target was a very important member of the England squad that won the Fifa U20 World Cup in South Korea this summer.
Josh Onomah has started training with his new teammates at Aston Villa and could make his official debut against Ola Aina's Hull City on Saturday.
