Hannover In Advanced Talks With Liverpool Over Loan Deal For Attack-Minded Player
Published: August 04, 2017
Newly-promoted German Bundesliga club Hannover 96 are in advanced talks with Liverpool over a loan deal for one of their offensive players, according to reports.
Hannover experts Der Sportbuzzer says a prominent member of Liverpool's first team is on the radar of Hannover, and could be joining the club on a season-long loan.
A representative of the Reds, Julian Ward, was shown around the club's facilities when he visited Hannover this week as Liverpool were participating in the Audi Cup.
Though the identity of the attack-minded player remains a mystery, Nigerian winger Sheyi Ojo, Divock Origi and Lazar Markovic have not been included in the list of possible targets.
It is thought Hannover are in the market for an offensive player, with Super Eagles trainee Noah Bazee set to miss the start of the new season due to injury.
