Published: August 09, 2017
EFL Championship outfit Middlesbrough have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Nigerian winger Sheyi Ojo, according to reports.
ESPN claims Middlesbrough are closing in on a loan move for the Liverpool winger, and the England U20 star favours a move to Garry Monk's side.
Sheyi Ojo has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, with Newcastle United, Fulham, Derby County believed to be interested in signing him.
Apart from The Reds first pre-season game against Tranmere Rovers in which he featured for 45 minutes, he has not been involved in first team matches and was left out of the roster for the trips to Hong Kong, Germany and Republic of Ireland.
Football's most expensive 14-year-old previously enjoyed loan spells at Wigan and Wolves.
