Chelsea Readying N16.4B Bid For Arsenal Star Who Will Compete With Moses
Published: August 10, 2017
Premier League champions Chelsea are readying a bid for Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Mirror is reporting that The Blues will test the Gunners resolve to hold onto the England international by making a £35 million (N16.4 billion) offer for his services.
Though Oxlade-Chamberlain is in contract talks with Arsenal, he is reluctant to sign a new deal and is not sure where his future lies.
The 23-year-old arrived the Emirates outfit from Southampton in 2011 with the world at his feet and tons of expectations due to his wonderkid tag.
If Oxlade-Chamberlain's transfer to Chelsea materializes, manager Antonio Conte is planning to transform him into a right wing-back, and he'll compete with Nigeria star Victor Moses for a starting shirt.
