Chelsea Target Flattered To Be Linked With Transfer To Arsenal
Published: August 17, 2017
CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin is flattered to be linked with a transfer to English Premier League club Arsenal.
It is known that a representative of Arsenal, football agent Sandor Varga, watched him during the 2017 Fifa Confederations Cup in which he started Russia's three matches, but a deal has not been completed two weeks to the end of the transfer window.
''Of course, I will be pleased that such a club (Arsenal) is interested in me,'' Golovin told sport-express.ru.
''In my opinion, every football player, regardless of age, wants to play in Europe. I'm not an exception.''
The 21-year-old Golovin has a contract with CSKA Moscow until the summer of 2021, and has also courted interest from Chelsea this summer.
