Chelsea Expert Questions Club's Decision To Keep Omeruo Loafing Around

Exactly two weeks before the close of the transfer window, the future of Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo remains unresolved.
The central defender has less than ten days before joining a new team, bearing it in mind he is expected to be named in the Super Eagles roster for the World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
Omeruo is neither here nor there and Chelsea expert Chelsea Youth has questioned the club's decision to keep the Nigerian and other fringe players in Cobham instead of loaning or selling them to their suitors.
''Some of those will be loans, some will be permanent, many are being held up by uncertainty over first-team business. Has knock-on effects,'' he said.
''There are consequences of bad planning too. Some have loans ready to go but miss the first month of the season due to transfer incompetence.
''Instead of going on loan and settling in during pre-season, they're kept around for the numbers game, and then finally let out late on.''
The Premier League champions have already loaned out twenty-six players this summer, and at least ten more players are expected to depart the club before the transfer window closes.
