ADO Den Haag To Ebuehi : You Will Make Nigeria's World Cup Squad If You Stay With Us

A representative of ADO Den Haag, Jeffrey Van As, is backing Tyronne Ebuehi to earn a spot on Nigeria's World Cup roster if he does not switch clubs in the January transfer window.
The right back has yet to agree terms on a contract extension with the Hague-based club and has been linked with possible moves to Norwich City, Benfica, Olympiakos, and Anderlecht.
''I still think he will stay. I also read that big clubs like Benfica, Olympiakos, Norwich and Anderlecht follow him,'' Jeffrey Van As, ADO Den Haag's manager of football affairs, said to Algemeen Dagblad.
''You can see that he is thinking about that. It is also difficult for the manager. What do you recommend? He needs ADO to go to the World Cup with Nigeria. I think it is wise for him to stay with us.
''I hope we will sell him someday and that he will go to the World Cup and play well. Or sell to a big club and let him stay with us, could also be an option. "
The 22-year-old Ebuehi has played two games under Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr, friendlies against Togo and Argentina in June and November 2017 respectively.
