Ostersunds FK Star Says He'll Not Give Nigeria U23 Roommate Iwobi The Cold Shoulder

Ostersunds FK striker Alhaji Gero has previewed the upcoming meeting between his Swedish team and Premier League powerhouse Arsenal for the last time, and said that he will have a chat with Alex Iwobi before and after the game.

Gero and Iwobi are closer than you think as they both roomed together during the Nigeria U23s together in Abuja three years ago.

Arsenal were trolled by Ostersunds FK earlier this week when the Allsvenskan side posted on Twitter that the club's new dressing room is in a snowhouse, but Gero has played down suggestions that the weather is in their favour.

''It's a game of football so anything is possible, the mood in the squad is really good and we are excited,'' said Alhaji Gero to allnigeriasoccer.com.

''The weather is the same for both teams so it shouldn't influence the outcome of the game.

'' Iwobi and I will speak together before and after the game, he was my roommate in the Nigeria U23 team!''

Including the qualifying rounds, Alhaji Gero has eleven appearances to his name in this season's Europa League, while Iwobi played two games in the group stage.
