CSKA Moscow's Samuel, Brian 'Abuja' Idowu On Target For Amkar Perm
Published: February 15, 2018
CSKA Moscow's Aaron Samuel is in the form of his life having found the net for the third straight game as Amkar Perm beat their Armenian opponents Alashkert FC 2-0 in a friendly on Thursday evening.
The Nigeria international opened the scoring in the 17th minute after he was fed by Milkovicha, the Russian Premier League team doubled their advantage through Brian 'Abuja' Idowu on 73 minutes.
Both Samuel and the Super Eagles left-back were named in the starting line-up while Fegor Ogude was introduced in the second half.
A week ago, the striker bagged a hat-trick as CSKA Moscow crushed Spanish club FC Torrevieja 7-0 in their final warmup game staged at their training camp in Campoamor, before scoring in his first game for Amkar Perm in their 3-0 win vs Montenegrin club FK Budućnost Podgorica at the start of this week.
Amkar Perm are in talks with CSKA Moscow over a four-month loan deal for the Nigeria striker but it is understood that the Perm based club have cash flow problems and this could scupper the proposed deal.
If the two clubs fail to reach an agreement, Samuel will have to return to CSKA before the end of this week.
