Published: February 16, 2018
Through a statement on their official website, Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland have announced that the talented Nigerian striker Babajide David has been loaned out to Norwegian team FK Haugesund for the rest of 2018.
In addition, it is understood that he penned a contract extension with FCM before the club sanctioned his loan move to Norway.
"We have chosen to rent Babadjide David to give him more playing time. We have a wide squad and it will be good for David's development to take another rental stay, '' FCM sports director Svend Graversen said.
The young Nigerian spent last season on loan at FK Jerv, for whom he scored nine goals in 28 matches.
He has found the net three times in two appearances for Midtjylland's reserve team in the Reserveligaen this season.
