Chelsea's Moses Battles Premier League Top Tackler For NFF Men's Player Of The Year

Ahead of the inaugural NFF Football Awards scheduled to hold at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Monday, 19th February 2018, the nominees in various categories have been revealed by the Nigerian Federation.
For the Men's Player of the Year, Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses has been shortlisted alongside Leicester City central midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and African Nations Championship star Anthony Okpotu.
Moses played a key role as Chelsea won the Premier League title and progressed to the final of the FA Cup last season, while Ndidi has impressed since joining Leicester from Racing Genk in January 2017.
Both players were among the star men as the Super Eagles qualified for the 2018 World Cup with a game to spare.
The Player of the Year (Women) field features former Arsenal and Liverpool striker Asisat Oshoala, Charity Reuben and Francisca Ordega.
Stephen Odey, Nura Mohammed and Ikouwem Udoh have been nominated for the Young Player of the Year (Men), while Rashidat Ajibade, Anam Imo and Gift Monday will compete for the Young Player of the Year (Women).
Sikiru Olatunbosun (MFM v Rangers), Shedrack Asiegbu (Abia Warriors v Plateau United) and Oche Salifu (Remo Stars v El Kanemi) are up for Goal of the Season prize.
