Official: Midfield Enforcer Madu Joins Portuguese Setup CD Nacional
Published: August 20, 2018Portuguese LigaPro champs C.D. Nacional have announced the acquisition of Nigerian midfielder Christian Madu.
The 25-year-old's contract with the Primeira Liga newcomers is for the next four years, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2022.
Madu will begin training with his new teammates, including ex-Golden Eaglets star Alhassan Ibrahim, on Tuesday, August 21.
He defended the colours of Giwa Football Club in the 2013-14 Nigeria Professional Football League season prior to his switch to Enugu Rangers.
The midfield enforcer was in the Enugu Rangers side beaten 4-1 by Zamalek in the CAF Champions League in 2017.
C.D. Nacional are among the three teams without a single point after the opening two matches of the new Primeira Liga season.
