Published: October 12, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Aaron Samuel has completed his transfer to Israeli Premier League club Beitar Jerusalem.
The Nigeria international has penned a one-year deal with Beitar Jerusalem, with an optional year at the end of the contract which may be guaranteed at the discretion of the club.
Samuel had been linked with a couple of clubs in Europe but preferred a move to Israel and it is known in the last few days, a Spanish club attempted to snatch the striker from under Beitar Jerusalem's nose.
The 24-year-old has been handed the number 40 jersey by the capital outfit and could make his competitive debut after the international break when they face Ashdod on Sunday, October 21.
Samuel lists Shooting Stars, Dolphins, Valerenga, Sarpsborg 08, Guangzhou R&F, Amkar Perm and CSKA Moscow amongst his former employers.
Beitar Jerusalem are the basement team in the Ligat ha'Al after six rounds and have scored only six goals.
