Rangers Join Celtic, West Ham, Middlesbrough In Race For 16-Goal Nigerian Striker
Scottish Premiership side Rangers have joined the race to sign Nigerian striker Josh Maja this month.

According to the Sunday People, via thisisfutbol.com, Rangers are prepared to challenge Glasgow rivals Celtic for the services of the Sunderland wonderkid.

Maja has 16 goals for the Black Cats from 30 appearances in all competitions this season, including his strike on Saturday against Scunthorpe United in League One.

The 20-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Sunderland are ready to sell their prized jewel or risk losing him for a little competition at the end of the season.

He is also attracting interest from German clubs Cologne, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart as well as West Ham and Middlesbrough in England.

Maja joined Sunderland in March 2015 from Fulham and previously played for the youth teams of Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
