Breaking : Lillestrom's Ifeanyi Matthew Joins Osmanlispor On Loan With Option To Buy
Published: January 31, 2019According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff, former Flying Eagles star Ifeanyi Matthew is set to be unveiled by Turkish First League club Osmanlispor in the coming hours.
The central midfielder has been given the green light by club medics to sign a contract with Osmanlispor after passing a medical on Thursday.
Matthew will join Osmanlispor on loan until June 15, 2019 and The Ottomans can purchase him fully at the end of the season.
He had been linked with possible moves to clubs in Belgium and Norway in recent months.
A product of FC Hearts, Matthew was in line to play for the Super Eagles in their friendly against Atlético de Madrid in Uyo on May 22 but was not released by Lillestrom.
The 22-year-old started and went the distance in every single game played by Lillestrom in the Eliteserien in 2018 and netted four goals.
