Done Deal: West Ham Loan Out Nigerian Striker Who Played Alongside Aina, Abraham At Chelsea
Premier League side West Ham confirmed on transfer deadline day that promising Nigerian striker OIadapo Afolayan has joined EFL League Two club Oldham Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has departed the Hammers on a temporary basis exactly a year after his celebrated move from non-leaguers Solihull Moors.

Afolayan was involved in West Ham U23s first four games of the 2018-2019 campaign before suffering an injury.

The hot prospect once played on the same Chelsea team as Tammy Abraham, Dominic Solanke and Nigeria international Ola Aina.

Afolayan was at Chelsea Academy until the age of fifteen when his family relocated to Canada, and had to continue his football education at Toronto FC's youth team, before returning to England and enrolling in a civil engineering course at Loughborough University.

He links up with promising Nigerian midfielder Chinedu Uche at Oldham Athletic.
