Manchester United Snatched Free-scoring Striker Odubeko From Under The Nose Of Manchester City
Published: March 05, 2019Manchester United snatched Ademipo Odubeko from under the nose of city rivals Manchester City, with the free-scoring Nigerian striker first arriving at the Etihad Stadium before he was convinced to join the Red Devils.
And he has not regretted the decision to join United one bit as he has emerged as one of the most promising talents at their Academy, making his U18s debut at the age of sixteen.
Mipo played for St Joseph's Boys Football Club in Dublin, Ireland before relocating to England with his parents in August 2015 on the invitation of Manchester City .
After spending five months with City, he later moved to Manchester United in 2016.
Manchester United remain hopeful of keeping Odubeko beyond the end of this season and have offered him a two-year scholarship deal, but it remains to be seen if other clubs would test their resolve as nothing has been inked yet.
