Manager Paul Aigbogun has announced the starting line-up for the Flying Eagles World Cup opener against Qatar at Tychy Stadium, Tychy, starting from 1700 hours.
Olawale Oremade has gotten the nod to start ahead of his main rival for the goalkeeper jersey, Detan Ogundare.
Aigbogun has opted to name a back four consisting of captain Ikouwem Udo, Valentine Ozornwafor, Aliyu Salawudeen and Mohammed Zulkifilu.
Manchester City whizkid Tom Dele-Bashiru, Bologna loanee Kingsley Michael, Kano Pillars' Jamil Muhammad and Maxwell Effiom will form the four-man midfield, meaning Bournemouth's Nnamdi Ofoborh is among the substitutes.
FC Baník Ostrava's Tijani Muhammed will lead the line against the Asian opponents, while Henry Offia will play a supporting role.
Today's match is the first meeting between Nigeria and Qatar at U20 level.
