Rohr Singles Out The Two Nigeria U20 Players That Impressed Him Against Qatar
The Flying Eagles won their opening game at a FIFA U20 World Cup for the first time in eight years, thrashing Qatar 4-0 in a Group D clash on Friday evening thanks to goals from Maxwell Effiom, Henry Offia, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Aliu Salawudeen.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr was among the 3,010 spectators at the Tychy Stadium, Tychy that watched the game.

The German football tactician is in Poland to run the rule over the Flying Eagles players with a view to a potential invitation to the Super Eagles after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Rohr singled out two Flying Eagles stars, Ikouwem Utin and Valentine Ozornwafor, for special praise during the game and confirmed that the central defender was on the brink of joining Galatasaray.

The two Enyimba starlets are among the six players on the standby list for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Left back Utin caused Qatar all sorts of problems in attacking areas, especially in the first half, and provided the assists for the Flying Eagles two goals in the first half.
