How Pledging Allegiance To Nigeria Over England Will Help Olowu Gain Prominence At Arsenal
Published: June 07, 2019
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively revealed last week that Arsenal's Hale End Academy product Joseph Olowu has decided to commit his future to the Super Eagles of Nigeria after meeting with representatives of the Nigerian Federation in Poland.
The young defender met with Flying Eagles manager Paul Aigbogun and he's expected to make his debut for the country's U23 side anytime soon.
Though his decision to ignore the European country in favor of the West African giant doesn't sound pleasant to many England fans, the 19-year-old centre-back will enjoy much benefits from the once-in-a-lifetime decision.
Switching allegiance to Nigeria provides the youngster with the best opportunity to kick-start his international career because Amapakabo's Dream VII team is more than ready to welcome him.
Olowu will join Alex Iwobi, Chuba Akpom and Semi Ajayi on the list of Arsenal products who decided to play for Nigeria at the expense of the Three Lions of England.

Playing for Super Eagles or Dream VII will also improve Olowu's physical strength as he will come up against more physically fit and agile players in training sessions.
This will give him the confidence and courage to stand his ground against many Arsenal's first-team strikers on training ground which will directly increase his hopes of being included in Emery's plan for next season.
