Dream Team VII Winger Linked With Sensational Move To Arsenal
Published: June 08, 2019Nigeria U23 international Emmanuel Dennis is being linked with a sensational move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Turkish sports daily Fanatik claims the Club Brugge winger is attracting interest from Arsenal and Lyon and both clubs have made a bid in the region of 12 million pounds to the Belgian First Division A club.
Despite their defensive problems, manager Unai Emery is believed to be in the market for an attack-minded player, with Danny Welbeck set to leave the club on July 1 and uncertainty surrounding the futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette who have been linked with Guangzhou Evergrande and Barcelona respectively.
Fenerbahce have been credited with an interest in Dennis but the Istanbul club are lagging behind their English and French counterparts in the race for his signature.
In 32 outings for Club Brugge last season, the Dream Team VII star contributed to 10 goals (7 goals, 3 assists) in 32 appearances across all competitions.
Dennis, 21, has a contract with Club Brugge until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
