2019 AFCON: Super Eagles Hold First Training Session In Ismailia 1700 Hours
The Super Eagles players and officials have landed in Ismailia to begin their second phase of preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

They completed their training camp in Asaba with a goalless draw against Zimbabwe on Saturday, June 8 before jetting to Egypt the following day.

The Super Eagles and Warriors players flew together to Ismailia aboard a chartered MAX Air flight from Asaba and the aircraft refueled at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano before heading towards Ismailia.

The Nigeria delegation will be staying at the Hotel Mercure in Ismailia for one week before they travel to Alexandria, where they will play all their Group B matches.

The players under the guidance of manager Gernot Rohr will go back to work when they hold their first training session in Ismailia on Monday evening, starting from 1700 hours.

A recovery session took place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Sunday morning before the trip to Egypt.
