Confirmed : Two Of Osimhen's Coaches At Lille Join Mourinho At Tottenham Hotspur
Published: November 20, 2019Through a press release published on their official website, French Ligue 1 outfit Lille have confirmed the departures of Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos.
The two coaches will be part of Jose Mourinho's backroom staff at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sacramento became assistant manager under Lille head coach Christophe Galtier in January 2017 and will now assist Mourinho at Tottenham, while Santos, who was the goalkeeping coach at Les Dogues, will take up a similar position at the North London club.
Mourinho has been spotted at Lille's home ground, Stade Pierre-Mauroy (Villeneuve d'Ascq), after leaving Manchester United in December 2018 and watched Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen net his last goal in the Ligue 1 against Nîmes Olympique on October 6.
Shortly after winning the Golden Boot award at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup, the ex-Golden Eaglets sensation was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, only for his agent to dismiss the reports.
Mourinho's new deal with Spurs runs out at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
