Hungbo converted from the spot to put the Hornets level after Nathan Carlyle opener before Bennetts stabbed home a cross from Jamal Balogun to earn his team all three points.
Elsewhere, Olatunde Bayode was among the goal party as Burnley recorded a 4-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra at the Tameside Stadium.
Bayode scored a fine solo goal to round off the scoring when he strode through the opposition defence to drill a low drive into the bottom corner.
And finally, Isaac Olaofe's brilliant double could not prevent Millwall from a 4-2 defeat to Crystal Palace at the Crystal Palace Training Ground.
