After parting ways with Man Utd product Kehinde, Ferencvaros sign another Lagos-born winger
Published: September 01, 2025
Hungarian champions Ferencváros have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Lagos-born winger Bamidele Yusuf, just days after parting company with Manchester United academy graduate Tosin Kehinde, who was also born in Nigeria's commercial capital.
The Green and Whites confirmed the deal in a statement on their official website, announcing the arrival of the highly-rated forward from Serbian outfit FK Vojvodina.
Yusuf, 24, enjoyed an impressive spell with Vojvodina, netting 21 goals and providing seven assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.
His form has continued into the new campaign, where he has already contributed six goal involvements in just five Serbian SuperLiga matches prior to his move to Hungary.
Yusuf, capable of operating both as a winger and a striker, began his career with Obazz FC before sealing a move to Slovakian top-flight side Spartak Trnava in 2019.
During his time with the club, he lifted the Slovakian Cup in the 2021/22 season and registered 23 goals and 12 assists across 98 appearances.
In September 2022, the forward switched to Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit Estoril, where opportunities proved limited, featuring just nine times and netting once in a season and a half.
Seeking regular football, Yusuf joined Serbian side Radnički Niš in January 2024, hitting fine form with six goals and five assists in 16 outings.
His performances earned him a move to FK Vojvodina, where he enjoyed a prolific campaign.
